Can you put essential oils in a plastic bottle?
If you are looking to store "pure" essential oils,it's necessary to use glass or aluminum.Due to the strength of the oils,plastic containers can break down over time,causing damaging leaks and the loss of your oils.In addition to proper storage containers,your oils also need to be kept in a dark,cool place and away from direct sunlight.
If you are using “diluted” essential oils, they can be stored in plastic containers, typically PET plastics, which are less expensive than glass containers. Diluted essential oil mixtures should also be kept out of direct sunlight and stored in a cool, dry place.
